Quiet Needs

i went to your tree house to see what i could see
under the starry skies and branches of you and me
and when the clouds emptied upon us with our snow
it was my true memories surrounding what i know

 

your smile warmed me in the depths of a springtime night
and in the morning felt the glow of rain and delight
tomorrow means little to this life of lusty greed
keep me wrapped in the arms of your love and quiet needs
